Where this comes from

Each epoch’s figure is Trillium’s own per-validator mean slot duration, and the headline is their unweighted average, one vote per epoch. 410ms is where Trillium’s slot_duration_is_lagging flag flips: across the 658 validators it had data for in epoch 1009, every one it flags sits at 410.02ms or slower and every one it does not sits at 409.87ms or faster, with no overlap. 426ms was the cluster’s own mean slot duration that epoch.

The Solana Foundation publishes no slot timing and sets no such limit: its per-epoch endpoint carries 29 fields and not one is a duration. Nothing here counts toward the program’s grades. The other source measures something else.
